Campus Minister
Randy Gore serves as Minister for CSCC and is also a registered chaplain at the University of South Carolina. He is an avid Gamecock fan (“spurs up”) and a Carolina alum. He also received graduate degrees from Southern Christian University in Montgomery, Alabama (M.S. in Christian Ministry) and Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee (Master of Divinity in Bible). In addition to leading worship services and group Bible studies for CSCC, Randy is here to be a pastoral friend to students and provide individual Christian counsel, Bible study, and prayer. He loves spending his time on campus working with students, working out in the Strom and Blatt gyms, and attending Gamecock athletic events. Students may contact him anytime at Gamecock4Jesus@gmail.com and he will set up a meeting time with you on campus that fits your schedule.
Sarah Wilson is a graduate student in the ministry who works with female students, leading Bible studies and planning activities. Sarah is from Greenville, SC and earned her bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Tennessee. She came to Carolina for graduate school, earned her Master of Arts in Linguistics, and continues her education, working towards her doctorate. Sarah has been a blessing in CSCC as both a student and an encourager, ministering with the undergraduate young ladies. She embraces Romans 12:2 as her “life verse” and states, “living as a Christian in an individualistic society that defines success by monetary gain and personal achievement, this verse serves to remind me of my life in Christ. I value no earthly wisdom above God’s truth found in Scripture.”
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2).
