College students often think seriously about eternity, salvation, and forgiveness of sins. This will move a student to consider the need of getting life right with God, which often causes a student to want answers to how he or she can be sure of salvation. This will often move a student to think about being baptized as he or she studies what the Bible teaches about these matters. There is good reason for this concern as it is a command of God that the Bible teaches believers to obey, with the result being forgiveness of sins by Jesus Christ. As Hebrews 5:9 teaches, Jesus Christ “became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” CSCC helps students who want guidance in what the Bible teaches about baptism and salvation, and is glad to baptize any student who wishes to obey this beautiful command of God. Would you like to be baptized or learn more about it? Please contact campus minister Randy Gore at Gamecock4Jesus@gmail.com and he will be glad to meet with you on campus to talk with you about baptism as it is taught in the Bible. In the meantime, you may want to look up these verses yourself to see what God teaches about baptism and salvation, and how you will be blessed in your obedience to Him:
